See you – we’ll be with you in Ljubljana from March 14 to 17
Idea Italia, the Italian food market with delicacies from our western neighbours, will be in Ljubljana for the sixth time around from March 14 to 17, welcoming visitors from 8 am to 8 pm in Pogačarjev trg, next to Ljubljana central market. Fresh products from Sicily, Sardinia, Tuscany, Umbria, Apuglia, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, and Emilia Romagna will be on display.
Sellers from Sicily, the most southern region in Italy, will cheer up visitors with a sweet tooth with cannoli and other typical desserts and sweets, while their neighbours from Sardinia will bring a traditional long-lasting flatbread known as pane carasau. Tuscany will present a wide range of cheese from goat, sheep and cow milk, accompanied by beer and wine, wild boar salami and olive oil. Emilia Romagna is well known for parmigiano and mortadella, Umbria for its dry-cured meats – especially prosciutto.
